What Do You Do If Your Car Breaks Down On the Road?

Do you have a plan for what to do in the event your vehicle breaks down on the road?

Here are some helpful tips:

*1 Turn on your hazard lights.

*2 Pull your vehicle off the road, or out of the travel lane as much as possible.

*3 If you have emergency flares, or signs, and can safely do so, put them out  to alert other travelers of your disabled vehicle.

*4 If in a safe location to remain in the car, make a call to a local towing company, or AAA if you are a member. If the car is not safe to remain in, exit it and find a safe location to remain while making your call.

*5 Have your vehicle towed to Partner Tire, 69 Creek Farm Road, Suite 1, Colchester, Vermont.

*6 Call 802-878-6731 and let us know it’s coming. If outside business hours, please leave a message with the best way to contact you.
